It's an end of the summer movie. It's larger than life, but it wasn't too big. The idea was intriguing. Having your entire neighborhood sent back to the age of dinosaurs isn't used all that often.

The story is important. Every parent should watch with their kids and talk about it. Though, as important as the story was, the pacing felt a bit off. Again, not the target demographic. It's made for a kids attention span of today. Which is much less than it was when I was a kid of the 80s.

This movie was a bit of a mixed bag. While it was somewhat enjoyable, it was just as dumb as I thought it would be. It was at times, a little too over the top. There were a few moments that were quite relatable.
