The third and final act of the Venom trilogy. And we all know the rules of a trilogy yes?
You got a killer who's unstoppable!
Anyone, including the main character can die.
The past will come back to bite you in the ass.
RIP Randy from Scream
For the most part, the rules were followed. The movie picks up where it was sort of left off with Spider-Man end-credit scene. Brock is pulled back from the MCU back into the Sony-verse, wanted for murder because of what happened in Let There Be Carnage.
Meanwhile, Darth Symbiote (Knull) sends a team of Symbiote Hellhounds or Rule #1 (Xenophages) to find the Allspark...I mean the McGuffin...I mean the 'Codex'. Its a thing inside of Venom when he's in full form. So, while trying to head to NYC to clear his name, Brock must face off against a creature that's hunting him down.

Area 51 is shutting down, while a secret lab underneath is researching the Symbiotes that landed on Earth with Venom, all of whom were escaping the clutches of Darth Symbiote...see Rule #3.
Overall, the movie was much better paced than the other two. While I enjoyed the first one well enough, I didn't love the second one. I can't really explain why, I just felt there was something off with it. This one was probably my favorite of the three. Which is sad cause it's the last one...maybe. Two end-credit scenes may mean more movies in just a different form.
There were a few highlights to speak of:
A hippy family is traveling along the Alien Highway to Area 51 before it gets shutdown. The dad loves aliens and hoped to see one before it closed for good. The family met Brock on his journey, and they were great. The parents were funny and the kids could not be more different from them. The daughter is a typical pre-teen/teen who can't with her parents belief in aliens and their son is just a good kid.
Mrs. Chen...that is all. She's awesome and I'd watch an entire movie with her and Venom in a team-up scenario. Needs to be a thing.

The Climax: It was tense with the arrival of more Symbiote Hellhounds and an attack on Area 51. If they get Venom, the world is lost. Very enjoyable.
It's not a movie I'm going to go out of my way to see anytime soon. However, I'd watch it again. If you want to just turn the brain off and enjoy a fun popcorn movie, then I'd give it a once and done watch.
A worthy conclusion to this series. Up next in the Sony-Verse is...checks notes Kraven!...*sighs*
